James was also a founding partner in developing Rincon’s premier neighborhood, “Dasher’s Landing”.
Throughout his adult life, James has been very active in the community serving in leadership positions of civic clubs and his church, coaching rec ball, and serving four years as PTA president before being elected to the Board of Education for two terms from 2003-2010. In 2011 James was elected to the Rincon city council where he served for nine years prior to relocating to the unincorporated Effingham County to reestablish his passion for developing communities.

Bridget was born and raised in Pennsylvania and moved to Effingham County with her high school sweetheart-turned-husband and their two small children in 2002. Bridget & her family resided in Rincon for the next twenty years prior to her and Ken relocating to the North Carolinas mountains in the fall of 2022. With their now adult children and precious granddaughter still living in Georgia, Bridget and Ken frequently return to their Georgia roots for routine family visits. Really to come to see their grand angel.
Bridget began her real estate career in 2003 working at ReMax First Choice and later becoming a licensed realtor in 2007. In February 2021, Bridget began her career with Dasher Real Estate Consultants and is currently the operations manager for DREC and Fetzer Lakes Developments LLC where she is the chief business originator working with both buyers and sellers, managing administrative tasks and keeping everyone and everything on schedule. Bridget also manages the Parkhurst family construction business that she and Ken have operated since relocating here from Pa. Yes, she stays busy.
James often describes Bridget’s job as the hardest in the world, both “cold calling” potential sellers and being able to shift with the never-ending change of direction that our business takes us. Bridget is a people person and her skills are enhanced by her compassion and gift of communicating with others.
